Welcome to Low-Income Home Energy Program (LIHEAP)

We have programs to help with the unusually high cost of energy bills:

Our Low-Income Home Energy Program (LIHEAP) provides energy assistance to low-income families. The Energy Assistance (EA) program is available to any household that meets income requirements once a year. The Energy Crisis Intervention Program (ECIP) program is available to families with an energy crisis (i.e., an electric or natural gas disconnect notice or <20% in propane tank). This assistance is available more than once a year, as long as the family meets program requirements. Eligibility is based on household size, income and availability of funds.

LIHEAP- provides energy assistance to low income families. The Energy Assistance portion of the program is for any household who meets the guidelines and is available once a year.
